My love of gardening began in 1998, when we bought our first house in

Cranleigh, and inherited a wrap around garden which was just lawn and fence.

​

Coming from a long line of green fingered women, with a mum and twin brother

who were both gardeners, I asked them to help me turn our uninspiring patch

of grass into a garden.

​

Mum arrived early on a sunny Saturday with a van load of plants, and we set to work.

Digging out new borders and preparing the ground, cutting and edging

the new lawn, and finally planting.

​​

I couldn't believe how much we had managed to achieve in one day.

The wasteland that had come with our house was now a garden, and

from that moment on I was hooked!

I began training with my mum after my daughter was born and soon went out on my own

weeding and cutting lawns.

​

As my experience grew, I realised that I could easily see how to improve my clients gardens

and began drawing up plans to share my ideas.​

​

Over the last 10 years I have been designing more than digging, and have an amazing team

of gardeners who have helped me bring my visions to life.

​​​

With nearly 25 years of practical experience, my journey from gardener to garden designer allows 

me to bring a unique blend of practical knowledge and a passion for plants to every project.
