My love of gardening began when we bought our first house in Cranleigh

in 1998.

​

We inherited a wrap around garden with no plants, an overgrown hedge and a

scrappy lawn.

​

My mum had been a professional gardener for 20 years, so I asked her to help turn

our uninspiring patch of grass into a garden.

​

Mum arrived early on a sunny Saturday, with a van load of plants, and we set to work!

​

We reshaped the lawn, digging out new curved borders. Cut the grass and planted 

our new shrubs and perennials.

​​​

I couldn't believe how much we had managed to achieve in one day,

The wasteland that had come with our house, was now a garden, and from that

moment, I was hooked!

​​​​​

I began training with my mum after my daughter was born, and soon went out on my own

weeding and cutting lawns.

​

As my experience grew, I realised that I could easily see how to improve my clients gardens,

and began drawing up plans to share my ideas.​

​

Over the last 10 years,  I have been designing more than digging, and have an amazing team

of gardeners who have helped me bring my visions to life.

​​​

With nearly 25 years of practical experience, my journey from gardener to garden designer allows 

me to bring a unique blend of practical knowledge and a passion for plants to every project.

​
